Wayne’s coaching is the inevitable product of an inspired life well lived, a captivating career as a global engineering executive, an exquisite blend of the latest in coach training, and his insatiable desire to share the accumulated wisdom of a journey filled with many triumphs and failures.
Wayne came to coaching following a career as an engineering executive within the Factory Mutual System, now known as FM Global. His executive accountabilities for strategic planning, engineering policy, training, and audits created the perfect opportunity to learn about leadership development on the job in a highly successful organization. His 35 year career included eight years managing the global engineering operations out of London, England. In his final 18 years as Senior Vice President – Engineering, Allendale Insurance, Wayne created and led countless loss prevention initiatives across the globe that ultimately led to savings of hundreds of millions of dollars.As a coach, Wayne serves the dreams and aspirations of principled and ambitious professionals. He is trained and certified through the Coaches Training Institute where he also participated in the CTI’s Top Seven Leadership Program.
Wayne’s unique one-on-one coaching style has inspired and furthered both the professional and personal development of many. In 2006 his interest and expertise widened to focus on the coaching of mission-critical teams and their leaders. The motivation for this expanded calling was his completion of two innovative and highly acclaimed training programs: the Organizational & Relationship Systems Coaching Program (ORSC), and Team Coaching International’s Team Diagnostic assessment tool and team coaching methodology. Wayne is an Authorized Facilitator for Team Coaching International.
Wayne obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan while winning several Big Ten tennis titles and a team captaincy.
