A full-time corporate coach since 2001, Sheila Kelly has been working with middle and senior managers in both the public and private sectors. Her coaching helps her clients change cultures by building relationships; drive performance improvement via respectful but effective coaching conversations; and reduce stress.
Sheila is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Saint Mary's University). A former classroom teacher, her management skills and experience, and her ability to handle sticky situations, were honed as a front-line supervisor/manager within one of the largest union environments in Canada.
Sheila has developed tools to fast-track her client's leadership potential, including the Personal Leadership ManifestoTM workbook, The F.O.C.U.S. FormulaTM technology, and the Coach...Lead...and Get Out of the WayTM coaching skills program.
Sheila is committed to coaching professionalism, and launched http://www.coachescanada.com as a vehicle to enhance and advance the profession. Sheila is a member of and adheres to the code of ethics of the International Coach Federation (ICF), a member of the Human Resource Association of Nova Scotia (HRANS), and is on the Board of the Halifax Women's Network. She is also a former Board member of the Halifax chapter, Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS). She volunteers with Dress for Success clients and supports the Red Tent-Marguerite Center annual fundraiser.
Sheila's clients are inspired by her commitment to their personal and professional development. She is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
