Priscilla Douglas is an executive coach and consultant who works at the individual, team or company level to develop and unleash organizational talent, innovation and productivity. Specifically, her clients become more adept at working collaboratively and strategically, transforming their culture, capturing and sharing knowledge, and connecting with customers. In sum, they enhance their ability to lead and produce breakthrough results
Priscilla was trained through the Coaches Training Institute. In 2006, she was recognized as one of the top 10 executive coaches by the Boston Women’s Journal.
Priscilla brings over 25 years of real world experience and thought leadership from the public and private sector to client engagements. Her professional career includes key executive positions in government, academics and business where she was often the first woman and the first African American. She served as a Special Assistant to the Director of the FBI and as Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As an instructor in the masters program for Harvard University Radcliffe Seminars, she taught courses in management, leadership and organizational behavior. While at General Motors, she wrked closely with the originator of the quality movement, Dr. W. Edwards Deming.
With the CEO of a major manufacturing company, Priscilla created a skip level communications process that resulted in more accurate and timely employee and customer feedback. With the President of an automotive engineering firm, she initiated a strategic process approach which accelerated the product development process. With the Senior Vice President of a financial services company, she delivered three-day events that led to the adoption of new leadership behaviors and direction. Priscilla assisted the top 150 executives of a Fortune 100 financial institution in the strategic transformation of their leadership style and organizational culture. Currently she is an advisor and coach to senior leaders implementing global diversity initiatives.
Priscilla is also a speaker and author. She has presented at the Aspen Institute, Club of Rome, as well as being a keynote speaker in forums in Singapore, Australia and Japan. She has published two articles on knowledge sharing and is currently working on an article entitled "How Leaders Generate Sustainable Conversations."
Priscilla earned her Ed.D from Harvard Graduate School of Education where her thesis on Black Working Women was accepted with distinction. She earned her master's and bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and is currently a member of the National Council. Besides coaching and consulting, her interests include skiing, scuba diving and cycling.
